The University of Southern Mississippi Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) office works to build and maintain philanthropic relationships between the University and private foundations and corporations.

The CFR office identifies potential funding sources and provides guidance in the planning and coordination of approaches to prospective funders. Our current priority is to help facilitate more effective and coordinated activity among Southern Miss’ colleges and centers when they engage corporate and foundation partners that have interests in multiple colleges on campus. To ensure that no potential conflicts or issues exist and that donor strategy is coordinated, we ask that on campus entities work with an assigned development officer and the CFR office when seeking philanthropic support from foundations and corporations.
