Hyler Bracey, Cass Flagg and Aubrey Sanford
After Bracey and Sanford earned their doctoral degrees at Louisiana State University, they were both hired as professors in the Management department at Southern Miss, where they taught for 10 years. While teaching at Southern Miss, the two started a training and consulting firm that became very successful. In 1979, Bracey, Flagg and Sanford moved to Atlanta, Ga., to grow the business, renaming it The Atlanta Consulting Group. After more than 20 successful years in business together, they sold the consulting group in 1996 and retired. In retirement Bracey and Flagg collect, restore and show antique John Deere tractors. Sanford enjoys riding his motorcycles in the hills of Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina.
A message from Bracey, Flagg and Sanford:
"We have started this scholarship. If it is going to be significant, it will be because of you and others. You can make a difference in students’ lives by helping fund the College of Business EAGLE Scholars Program. There will be fine students that will be able to stay in college because of your help. Approximately $7,000 funds an annual scholarship. $200,000 will endow one in perpetuity. We have shown our commitment by seeding the scholarship. Please help by contributing to the scholarship and by enrolling others in this worthy cause. Our dream is to raise at least $1 million, and with your support, we know we can accomplish this goal!"
